What Is Europe

Europe in the mid-1990s is one continent with national governments differing in their histories; some are established democracies and others have more experience under dictatorships. This work uses political science concepts to show how European governments differ from each other. It covers all the member states of the European Union and the new democracies of central Eastern Europe.
